Our Staff:

Donna Naughton -
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a bit about myself.  I am married with two daughters and I have lived in Greenwood Lake for over 30 years.  I graduated Monroe-Woodbury High School in Central Valley, New York and worked for Hertz Corporation as a claims adjuster for over ten years.  After I had my first child, I left my job and became a family daycare provider.  Since then, I have provided a loving and nurturing daycare environment for over ten families, caring for children from infant to school age.  I have impeccable references available at any time.  I was a Girl Scout leader for five years and recipient of the annual Outstanding Leader Award.  I am currently the Waterfront Director of the Windermere Park Association, overseeing the children's activities and lifeguards.  I have completed a full background check, I am CPR & First Aid trained and I have my NYS School-Aged Credentials.  I take training classes on early childhood education and I am always available to answer any questions you may have about anything related to the care of your child.

- I am the mother of two girls, Hunter and Skye.  I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.  I have completed a full background check and have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education Teacher Training K-12.  I am also a Masters Candidate from Hunter College in Special Education.  I taught preschool for five years in Brooklyn until I had my first daughter and couldn't commute anymore.  I thought I was done with teaching for a while until my youngest daughter was in pre-k at Village Preschool and the head teacher position became available.  I immediately jumped at the chance and was placed in the position.  Unfortunately, the school closed its doors that June by order of the Village due to lack of funding.  It was the greatest experience.  The following year I was a substitute teacher at the Greenwood Lake Elementary School.  During that time, Donna and I decided to combine our talents and love for children into a school of our own.  Well, you know the rest.  I am thrilled to have this opportunity again!
